Senior Software Developer Backend

About the Role :

As a Senior Software Developer you will play a key role in designing developing and scaling core product features. You will take ownership of modules end-to-end and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

You will also mentor engineers and contribute to improving engineering practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop scalable high-performance software systems.
• Own modules end-to-end including design development testing deployment and support.
• Collaborate with product managers designers and engineers to build impactful product features.
• Write high-quality maintainable and scalable code.
• Drive performance improvements and system stability.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools.

Qualifications :

• 36 years of experience in software development.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Solid understanding of data structures algorithms and system design.
• Experience building scalable and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres).
• Experience with MongoDB Web Services and microservices architecture.
• Experience working in product-based companies internet companies or startups is preferred.
• Experience in e-commerce or travel domain is a plus.
