Senior Integration Engineer (Workato)

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience: 5 Years

Were looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer who enjoys solving problems working with customers and driving things forward.

This role is not just about writing code. Youll work closely with customers to understand their business challenges gather requirements ask the right questions and turn those requirements into effective integration solutions.

• Interact with customers to understand business needs and gather technical requirements.
  

• Translate customer challenges into practical integration and automation solutions.
  

• Build and maintain integrations using Workato and other iPaaS platforms.
  

• Work with REST/SOAP APIs webhooks JSON XML SQL and data transformations.
  

• Coordinate with engineering and delivery teams to drive tasks and meet timelines.
  

• Take ownership of troubleshooting resolving blockers and ensuring smooth delivery.
  

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and build reusable solutions.
  

• 5 years of experience in software engineering middleware or enterprise integrations.
  

• Strong hands-on experience with Workato (Boomi MuleSoft WSO2 or TIBCO is a plus).
  

• Good understanding of APIs webhooks OAuth JSON XML SQL and JavaScript/Python.
  

• Experience integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce NetSuite Workday Snowflake or Shopify.
  

• Prior experience interacting with customers gathering requirements and communicating technical solutions. Comfortable coordinating with stakeholders and driving discussions independently.
  

• A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive tasks independently.
