Description
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Plan and execute functional non-functional integration and security testing activities for cloud-based software applications.
- Validate device-to-cloud communication data integrity scalability reliability and security across distributed IoT ecosystems.
- Review and analyze product requirements and technical design documentation to identify testing scope and quality risks.
- Develop test strategies test plans test scenarios test cases and test data based on business requirements and risk analysis.
- Design develop maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks and scripts.
- Execute manual and automated test cases evaluate results and communicate quality status to key stakeholders.
- Identify document track and support resolution of software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Maintain test documentation metrics reports and release readiness assessments.
- Participate in automation code reviews and contribute to best practices that improve test maintainability and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with software developers product owners and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Drive continuous improvements in testing methodologies tools processes and quality standards.
- Work effectively with local and remote teams across multiple geographic locations and time zones.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in software testing with strong hands-on automation testing experience.
- Experience testing web-based applications across functional and non-functional domains.
- Ability to develop and execute test strategies test plans and quality reporting processes.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Working knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java or C#.
- Knowledge of IoT communication technologies and protocols including OPC UA Modbus and TCP.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile project tracking defect management and test management.
- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
- Understanding of containerization technologies and concepts.
- Relevant professional experience in software testing automation and quality engineering.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience with cybersecurity-focused software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and secure testing techniques.
- Knowledge of IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.
- Hands-on experience testing cloud-based digital twin applications.
- Exposure to industrial automation systems Industrial IoT environments or connected device ecosystems.
- Experience working within globally distributed Agile development teams.
