Job Title - Senior DevOps Engineer

Requirements:-

As aSenior DevOps and Tooling Engineer you will play a critical role within the OSTTRA Technology team especially in supporting the TSA separation programme. This position is the engine room of the companys deployment process requiring you to oversee the core infrastructure that drives the global development lifecycle. Your primary focus will be to ensure the resilience scalability and automation of our version control Artifact management and CI/CD systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Administration:Act as the primary administrator for enterprise-grade tooling specificallyJFrog Artifactory GitLab and GitHub.
• CI/CD Architecture:Design build and optimize complexCI/CD pipelinesand shared libraries to standardize deployment workflows across microservices.
• Artifact Lifecycle Management:Manage JFrog Artifactory repositories including permission models clean up policies and integration with build tools (Maven NPM Docker).
• Version Control Governance:Oversee GitLab/GitHub organization settings managing access controls security hooks and branching strategy enforcement.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC):Drive the automation of tooling infrastructure usingTerraformand Ansible to ensure a self-healing DevOps ecosystem.
• Automation & Scripting:UsePython Go or Bashto automate repetitive administrative tasks such as automated user onboarding or bulk repository migrations.
• Security & Compliance:Implement security scanning within the pipeline (SAST/DAST) and manage Artifactory Xray for vulnerability and license compliance.
• Cloud Integration:Orchestrate the integration between on-premise tooling and cloud-based environments (AWS/GCP) specifically focusing on EKS/GKE deployment targets.
• Support & Troubleshooting:Provide Tier-3 support for developer tooling incidents ensuring minimal downtime for the global engineering teams.

Technical Qualifications

• Expertise in Tooling:Minimum 5 years of experience with a heavy focus onadministering JFrog Artifactory(Pro/Enterprise) andGitLab/GitHubat scale.
• CI/CD Mastery:Proven experience configuring and managing CI/CD tools (GitLab CI Jenkins or GitHub Actions) and writing complex configuration files (YAML/Groovy).
• Cloud Infrastructure:Hands-on experience managing infrastructure onAWS or GCP specifically usingTerraformfor resource provisioning.
• Container Orchestration:Solid understanding ofKubernetes/OpenShiftand how CI/CD tools interact with container registries.
• Security Mindset:Experience with security tooling likeJFrog Xrayor SonarQube integrated into the developer workflow.
• Scripting Proficiency:Strong ability to code inPython or Goto build custom tooling and API integrations.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent documentation skills (process-oriented) and a service-delivery mindset to support internal development teams.
