Your future duties and responsibilities:

Role Overview
As an Axiom Developer you will be a core member of our regulatory reporting technology team. You will be responsible for designing developing and implementing complex regulatory reporting solutions using the AxiomSL ControllerView platform. You will work closely with business analysts data engineers and compliance teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports to financial authorities.

Key Responsibilities

. Solution Development: Design build and configure regulatory reporting solutions using AxiomSL ControllerView.
. Data Integration & Mapping: Develop complex data mappings data dictionaries aggregations and workflows within Axiom to transform raw data into regulatory-compliant formats.
. Database & Query Optimization: Write tune and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to ensure efficient data processing and report generation.
. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with Business Analysts and Finance/Risk stakeholders to translate regulatory guidelines (e.g. RBI MAS FED PRA) into technical specifications.
. Testing & Deployment: Conduct rigorous unit and integration testing of Axiom objects. Manage the packaging and migration of Axiom components across environments (Dev UAT Prod).
. Production Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Level 3 support for regulatory reporting cycles proactively resolving data issues job failures and performance bottlenecks.
. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all developed processes configurations and data lineage.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills (Core Requirements)

. AxiomSL Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on demonstrable experience developing within AxiomSL ControllerView.
. Database Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle SQL Server or similar RDBMS). Ability to write complex joins stored procedures and optimize query performance.
. Financial Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking and financial services specifically within Regulatory Reporting Risk Management or Finance domains.
. Data Warehousing & ETL: Solid grasp of data warehousing principles data modeling and ETL concepts.
. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a meticulous eye for data accuracy and quality.


Nice-to-Have Skills

. Scripting & Automation: Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting for job scheduling (e.g. Control-M Autosys).
. Familiarity with Payments/SWIFT: Basic understanding of payment architectures SWIFT messaging (MT/MX) or structured addresses (a strong plus based on our current ecosystem).
. Agile/Scrum: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
. Other Technologies: Exposure to Big Data technologies or data streaming platforms (like Kafka) is advantageous.
