We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Associate Director Data and Analytics
In this role you will:
Lead the technical design and build of IT systems adding AI features aligned to business value.
Set the technical standards and best practices for engineering teams.
Guide and mentor other engineers helping to build a strong technical culture.
Solve complex technical problems that affect multiple systems.
Work closely with senior management to ensure technology choices support business goals.
Review system designs to ensure they are secure reliable andscale.
Research and introduce newcapabilitiesthat improve our servicesand efficiency.
Ensure all technical workand AI tools followGroup Chief Information Office (GCIO) standards and banking regulations.
To be successful you will:
Extensive experience working as a senior lead or principal software engineer with experience building AI systems
A strong background in building large-scale secure systems ideally within the financial sector.
Deep knowledge of modern software development cloud computing and system design.
Proven ability to lead technical projects and guide engineering teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills to handle complex system-wide challenges.
Clear communication skills to explain technicaland AIconcepts to both technical and non-technical staff.
Experience working in a highly regulated environment with strict security rules.
A hands-on approachremainingcomfortablereviewingcode testing AItoolsandleading by example.
