Job Summary

Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (e.g. Selenium Cypress or Playwright).
Execute manual and automated test cases across web mobile and API-based applications.
Perform functional regression integration performance and security testing to validate software quality.
Collaborate with development teams to identify reproduce and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira Bugzilla).
Participate in sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives as part of an Agile/Scrum development process.
Contribute to test planning test case documentation and test reporting for each release cycle.
Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and recommend improvements in test coverage and process efficiency.
Ensure compliance with coding standards security protocols and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with DevOps to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery practices.
Stay updated with emerging QA tools testing methodologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
25 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing.
Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium Cypress or Playwright with experience in JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in fast-paced development environments.
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions).
Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with test management tools (e.g. TestRail Zephyr).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
