Job Summary

Process and reconcile daily weekly and monthly financial transactions including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
Assist in preparing financial statements including P&L balance sheets and cash flow statements in alignment with accounting standards.
Support the month-end and year-end closing process by ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Monitor and manage vendor payments invoice approvals and payment schedules to maintain strong supplier relationships.
Collaborate with internal teams to collect and verify financial data for budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and track purchase orders expense reports and reconciliations for accuracy and timeliness.
Support audits and external reviews by providing documentation and ensuring data integrity.
Utilize accounting software (e.g. SAP Tally QuickBooks) to streamline financial workflows and improve reporting efficiency.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
13 years of relevant experience in finance accounting or bookkeeping roles preferably within the fashion retail or consumer goods industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP Tally QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP pivot tables macros).
Strong understanding of GAAP or Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
Excellent attention to detail organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy and integrity.
Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced evolving fashion environment with changing business demands.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables formulas charts). Excellent presentation skills using PowerPoint. Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Time and Motion Study Process Qualification - MBA in Analytics/Operation or related field
