Procurement Analyst

Yexts Finance Shared Services team is seeking a Procurement Analyst. Reporting to the Procurement Manager this individual will be responsible for data management with regards to purchases and contracts and work to develop purchasing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Review new contract listings in the P2P system ensuring details align with signed agreements and corresponding purchase orders.
• Follow up on requisitions in P2P system considered aged or still pending approval taking appropriate action to reconcile cancel or prompt the right people to take action
• Review all POs that have recently closed.
• Update Procurement data in summary business analytics deck distributed to company executives
• Ensure all contracts that expire in the future have reminders set up to notify the owner in advance of the end date to review for termination or renewal.
• Ad-hoc reporting for internal business partners
• Updating of FAQ and training-related resources in Guru and other locations.

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS degree preferred
• 1-3 years procurement experience
• High degree of accuracy attention to detail and confidentiality
• Excellent data entry skills
• Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills
• Effective verbal listening and written communication skills
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently or as a team member

• Coupa
• Zendesk
• Looker
• Netsuite.

Requirements

• Collaborative style with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely on technical and operational issues
• Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task accordingly while keeping others apprised of status with respect to deadlines
• Excellent written and formal presentation skills
