• Design AIS/GIS substations up to EHV voltage levels.

• Prepare primary engineering drawings including layouts sections equipment arrangement and cable routing.

• Perform grounding/earthing and lightning protection design.

• Prepare and review equipment specifications BOMs and RFQs.

• Review vendor technical offers and engineering documents.

• Ensure designs comply with applicable IEC and IEEE standards.

• Prepare/review engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

• Coordinate with internal engineering teams vendors and customers for technical requirements and design reviews.

• 812 years of relevant Substation Primary Design experience.

• Strong experience in AIS/GIS substation design.

• Exposure to EHV/HV substations.

• Hands-on knowledge of:

  • Primary equipment layout

  • Section/elevation drawings

  • Earthing/grounding

  • Lightning protection

  • Cable routing

  • Equipment specifications

  • BOM/RFQ preparation

  • Vendor offer evaluation

• Good knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Candidates with strong HV/EHV AIS/GIS substation primary engineering and design experience will be preferred. Experience in utility EPC or power transmission projects is an advantage.
