Power Automate Developer

Role overview

We are seeking a Power Automate Developer to design build and support workflow automation and AI-assisted solutions within a regulated banking technology environment.

The role will focus on improving operational efficiency control data quality and process consistency across functions such as Finance Product Control Risk Compliance Legal Operations Technology Risk and Corporate Technology.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and AI Builder and will be able to automate manual processes extract information from documents support approval workflows improve reporting and strengthen auditability.

Key responsibilities

Design develop and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate including cloud flows scheduled flows approval workflows and business process automation.

Develop and implement AI Builder solutions including document processing OCR/text extraction classification entity extraction prediction models and prompt-based AI use cases.

Work with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into secure supportable technical solutions.

Build integrations with Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Teams Outlook Excel Forms OneDrive Planner and Power BI.

Create and maintain Power Apps where required to provide business users with controlled interfaces for automated processes.

Build and manage data sources using SharePoint Lists Dataverse SQL Server or approved enterprise repositories.

Develop automation and AI-assisted workflows for use cases such as P&L sign-off balance-sheet substantiation reconciliation independent price verification support AML controls market-conduct workflows risk attestations issue tracking access reviews document approvals and regulatory reporting support.

Integrate Power Automate solutions with enterprise applications using standard connectors custom connectors APIs or approved integration layers.

Produce documentation including solution designs process flows data mappings AI model usage notes support guides access models and operational runbooks.

Support testing deployment and production support activities including troubleshooting monitoring incident resolution and corrective actions.

Contribute to Power Platform governance including environment management connector policies data-loss prevention controls AI usage controls and application lifecycle management.

Required skills and experience

Strong hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Automate.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft AI Builder including configuring training testing deploying and monitoring AI Builder models.

Experience using AI Builder for document processing OCR entity extraction classification prediction prompt-based AI confidence scoring exception handling and human-in-the-loop review.

Experience with Power Apps Dataverse SharePoint Online Microsoft Teams Outlook and Power BI integration.

Ability to work with APIs JSON REST services custom connectors and integration patterns.

Experience with structured data sources such as SQL Server Dataverse SharePoint Lists or Excel-based operational datasets.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices including requirements gathering design testing deployment and support.

Experience working in controlled environments using change management release management and incident management processes.

Ability to document business processes using tools such as Visio BPMN Confluence SharePoint or similar platforms.

Strong analytical problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

Banking and governance experience

Experience in banking capital markets commodities trading risk or regulated financial services is highly desirable.

The candidate should understand the importance of auditability evidence capture segregation of duties data confidentiality access control operational resilience regulatory reporting risk frameworks production stability records retention and human review of AI-generated outputs.

Knowledge of Product Control Finance Risk Compliance Operations AML Market Conduct Liquidity Regulatory Reporting or Technology Risk would be beneficial.

Desirable skills

Power BI SQL Server Azure Logic Apps Azure Functions Azure DevOps Microsoft Graph API custom connectors Power Automate Desktop/RPA Python JavaScript PowerShell ServiceNow Jira or Confluence.
