Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Design develop test and maintain PHP-based web applications and services.
. Develop reusable efficient and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
. Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
. Optimize application performance reliability and security.
. Identify troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and implement new features.
. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
. Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and APIs.
. Stay updated with emerging technologies frameworks and industry best practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:

. Extensive experience in backend application development using PHP building scalable secure and high-performance enterprise applications.
. Strong proficiency in PHP 7.x/8.x and modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel Symfony or CodeIgniter.
. Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs and web services.
. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Design Patterns SOLID Principles and MVC architecture.
. Experience with source code management and version control using Git GitLab or GitHub.
. Skilled in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes using GitLab CI Jenkins or similar tools.
. Proficient in unit testing and test automation using PHPUnit and related testing frameworks.
. Experience with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube PHPStan Psalm and OWASP security best practices.
. Strong database development experience using MySQL PostgreSQL MariaDB or Oracle including query optimization and database design.
. Experience with ORM technologies such as Eloquent ORM or Doctrine.
. Hands-on experience with caching technologies such as Redis and Memcached to improve application performance.
. Familiarity with asynchronous processing message queues and event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ Kafka or similar technologies.
. Experience with Linux environments shell scripting and web servers such as Apache and Nginx.
. Proficient in application monitoring troubleshooting and log analysis using tools such as ELK Stack Splunk or Grafana.
. Effective collaborator with experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile project management sprint planning documentation and team collaboration. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Good-to-Have Skills:

. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
. Knowledge of frontend technologies including JavaScript TypeScript React Angular or .
. Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
. Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible etc.).
. Experience with GraphQL and API Gateway technologies.
