Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle OTBI & BI Publisher Reports Specialist with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion reporting tools. The role involves designing developing and delivering high-quality reporting solutions across Finance and HCM domains ensuring accuracy performance and alignment with business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities hands-on experience with Oracle reporting technologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business reporting requirements from stakeholders
- Translate functional specifications into scalable technical reporting solutions
- Design and develop OTBI analyses dashboards and reports
- Develop and maintain BI Publisher (BIP) reports including data models and templates
- Create and manage report layouts (RTF Excel) with standardized formatting
- Configure report bursting scheduling and automated distribution
- Validate data to ensure accuracy consistency and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve report performance issues and data discrepancies
- Optimize existing reports for performance and usability improvements
- Implement and manage report-level security and access controls
- Manage version control and deployments using CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with Finance HR Procurement and IT teams to support reporting needs
- Prepare technical documentation user guides and training materials
- Provide end-user training and ongoing support

Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle OTBI report and dashboard development
- Advanced proficiency in BI Publisher (data models templates bursting scheduling)
- Expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM Extracts and ERP reporting tools
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Connector (BICC)
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion data models schemas and subject areas
- Advanced SQL and data manipulation skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Strong data visualization and reporting design capabilities

Education & Certifications
Required
- Advanced degree in Computer Science Information Systems Statistics Mathematics Economics or a related field
- Alternatively a bachelors degree with additional relevant experience may be considered

- Certifications in Oracle OTBI / BI Publisher
- Knowledge of Agile PRINCE2 or ITIL Foundation
- Basic project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation)

- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in:

Required Skills:
Required: At least 10 years of relevant professional experience which includes several or all following areas: Business Intelligence data analytics data visualization data communication and campaigns software development. Expertise in report and dashboard design and delivery using Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher Expertise in use of HCM Extracts for Reporting needs Expertise in configuring scheduling and management of data extraction processes from Oracle Fusion applications and PaaS applications using BICC Desirable: Experience in using alternative tools (other than BICC) for data extraction processes Substantial hands-on experience working with at least one of the following applications: Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial (ERP) Expertise in the use of HCM Extracts for Integration with various applications Experience in using Fusion Desktop Integration
