Job Summary

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with application teams data engineers analysts and business stakeholders to deliver integration solutions aligned with enterprise and clinical objectives.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure seamless data exchange across systems including EHRs third-party vendors and enterprise platforms.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to integration design and approach.

Development:

  • Design develop and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft and Cloverleaf.
  • Build and support interfaces for real-time and batch data processing across multiple systems.
  • Develop APIs message transformations and routing logic to enable system interoperability.
  • Configure and manage secure file transfers using MOVEit for data exchange.
  • Write and maintain scripts and supporting logic for data transformation and validation.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards version control and integration best practices.

Integration & Interoperability:

  • Develop and maintain interfaces using healthcare data standards such as HL7 FHIR and other messaging protocols.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data formats including JSON XML and flat files.
  • Ensure accurate mapping transformation and routing of data across systems.
  • Support integration with EHR systems (e.g. Epic Meditech) and third-party applications.

Production Support & Optimization:

  • Monitor troubleshoot and resolve integration failures interface errors and data discrepancies.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes for recurring issues.
  • Optimize integration workflows for performance reliability and scalability.
  • Support on-call or extended support for critical integration systems.

Data Security & Compliance:

  • Ensure all integrations comply with HIPAA and enterprise data security standards.
  • Implement secure data transfer mechanisms and encryption protocols.
  • Maintain audit trails and ensure secure handling of sensitive healthcare data.

Agile Practices:

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Deliver integration solutions within committed timelines and maintain transparency on progress and risks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and delivery practices.

Testing and Documentation:

  • Perform interface testing validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
  • Document integration workflows mappings and technical specifications.
  • Maintain operational documentation to support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.

Technical Support:

  • Provide ongoing support for integration platforms and interfaces ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with support teams to resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of integration services.
