Job Description
What youll Do
Responsible for centralized quality assurance and quality control activities for a given project or group of projects.
Utilizes in-depth technical knowledge analytical thinking and project experience to perform the project quality role effectively.
Able to work in a matrix organization and coordinate with engineering procurement manufacturing vendors and site teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded in project execution.
Applies technical experience and analytical thinking using both internal and external sources beyond the immediate team to reach decisions and conclusions.
Reads understands andanalysesthe project contract. Collaborates inidentifyingproject risks and opportunities and in defining and implementing mitigation actions.
Defines the project quality assurance strategy with the Project Director ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Develops and implements project quality plans inspection and test plans and quality proceduresfor relatedpackages.
Consolidateslessons learned frompreviousprojects into actionable improvements to prevent recurrence. Conducts quality reviews audits inspections and follows up on deviations non-conformances and corrective and preventive actions.
Supports the Project Director in managing cost of non-quality related claims curative and containment actions and corrective and preventive actions.
Monitors project performance periodically andleadappropriate actionsto improve results.
Leads the Voice of Customer (VoC) process ensuring periodic feedback is received from the customer and addressed appropriately.
Manages the preparation and delivery of thedatabook(project quality records) ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Reviews drawings documents material submittals inspection reports and test records for quality conformity.
Manages all non-conformities related to the project and the cost of quality. Supports the preparation of claims in the case of vendorbill-backsand third-party claims.
Ensures compliance with project specifications international standards regulatory requirements and customer quality expectations.
Monitors critical quality milestones andidentifiesrisks that could affect project schedule cost or technical performance.
Leads resolution of quality issues through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Interfaces with customers consultants and third-party inspectors on quality-related matters.
Prepares and presents quality reports performance dashboards and lessons learned for management review.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality performance and reduce rework.

You are a quality professional who brings strong analytical thinking clear communication and the confidence to challenge existing approaches when better solutions exist. You are as comfortable working independently as you are rallying a team around a shared standard.
Required
10 years of experience in Quality Management
Bachelors degree in Electical Engineering Quality Management
PMP Certification shall be considered as merit for short listing andselection.
Membership of Profession Engineering Institution
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
Proven experience in document management process improvement and quality system implementation within a project environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Preferred
Experience in the energy power or infrastructure sector hydro power exposure is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with quality management frameworks such as ISO 9001 or equivalent industry standards.
Established project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
