Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript GraphQL and AWS to design and build scalable high performance backend systems. The role involves working on cloud native architectures using AWS CDK collaborating with cross functional teams and driving best practices in backend engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain scalable backend services using and TypeScript
Build and manage GraphQL APIs ensuring performance security and reliability
Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS services and AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code)
Implement best practices for API design data modeling and system scalability
Ensure high code quality through code reviews testing and CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate closely with frontend DevOps and product teams
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision making
Mandatory Skills
7 years of backend development experience
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and
Hands-on experience with GraphQL (schema design resolvers performance tuning)
Strong experience with AWS (Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB/RDS S3 IAM etc.)
Proven experience using AWS CDK for infrastructure provisioning
Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs microservices and event driven systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
Strong understanding of security scalability and performance optimization
