Junior Java Developer

Procyon Technostructure is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join our Information Technology team in Chennai. • Assist in designing and developing Java applications under the guidance of senior developers
• Write clean readable and maintainable code following established coding standards
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality
• Debug and troubleshoot basic issues in Java-based applications
• Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
• Support the integration of applications with databases and backend services
• Document code and technical processes for future reference
• Stay updated with emerging Java technologies and development best practices
• Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to track progress
• Assist in testing and validating software functionality

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• 02 years of experience in Java development or a strong academic project background
• Basic knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented concepts
• Familiarity with common development tools and IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA
• Understanding of version control systems like Git
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Preferred: Exposure to web development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
• Preferred: Familiarity with agile development methodologies
