As a Process Engineer you will play a pivotal role in understanding customer requirements coordinating with various teams and ensuring the successful design and implementation of skid systems. Your responsibilities will encompass:
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer and End-Customer Requirements: Gain a deep understanding of customer and end-customer requirements ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Datasheet Preparation: Create comprehensive datasheets for components such as pumps motors control valves and instruments. Collaborate with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to finalize technical specifications with vendors globally.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers worldwide to discuss technical specifications and submit relevant documents.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of three designers and draftsmen providing guidance and oversight on the 3D design of skid systems. Offer support and solutions in case of design challenges (while not required to perform the modelling personally a strong understanding of 3D CAD software is essential).
- Design Coordination: Collaborate with the Design and Analysis team to facilitate thermal and structural designs for critical components including heat exchangers.
- Electrical and Instrumentation: Coordinate with the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) team to prepare electrical drawings and datasheets for electrical and instrumentation components.
- Quality Documentation: Work closely with the Quality department to prepare quality documentation such as Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and quality requirements for component procurement.
- Production Support: Coordinate with the Production department to address design issues on the shop floor communicating any revisions and design changes as needed.
- Central Coordination: Serve as the central hub for all the above departments acting as the primary liaison between Enpro and the customers engineering team to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
