Java Developer – RESTSOAP APIs, Oracle, MongoDB & AI-Powered Data Automation

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Java Developer to design develop and maintain high-performance enterprise applications. This role will enhance application platforms integrate backend services and support system stability scalability and data quality. The successful candidate will contribute across the software development lifecycle develop RESTful APIs and SOAP services manage Oracle and MongoDB data environments and support CI/CD and agile delivery practices. The role will also apply AI-powered development tools and automation to improve data pipelines ETL processes and engineering efficiency.

Software Requirements

Required

• Java: 7 years of professional Java development experience; project-approved Java version to be used.
• REST APIs and SOAP services: Professional experience designing developing integrating and supporting services.
• Oracle: Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL; version aligned with the assigned project environment.
• MongoDB: Experience with data storage and retrieval; version aligned with the assigned project environment.
• Unix/Linux: Strong experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Maven and Gradle: Experience managing builds dependencies and project configuration.

Overall Responsibilities

• Design develop test deploy and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and SOAP services to support backend connectivity and business processes.
• Manage data storage and retrieval using Oracle SQL/PL/SQL and MongoDB.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; an equivalent combination of relevant education training and professional experience may be considered.
• 7 years of professional Java development experience including enterprise application delivery.
• Demonstrated experience with REST APIs Oracle SQL/PL/SQL Unix/Linux MongoDB and backend service integration.
• Experience with Tibco EMS Maven Gradle Git GHE CI/CD practices agile methodologies and AI-powered data-pipeline automation is required.
• Relevant technical certifications are preferred but not required; ongoing training and professional development in Java AI development tools data engineering security and delivery practices are expected.
