J2EE Cloud Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain Core Java / J2EE / Servlet-based applications in a monolithic architecture while contributing to modernization initiatives (cloud deployment SaaS enablement).
  
• Collaborate closely with architects and product teams to define scalable solutions and technical designs.
  
• Provide end-to-end ownership of modules from requirements analysis to deployment and performance optimization.
  
• Work on application modernization initiatives including cloud migration SaaS enablement and performance improvements.
  
• Develop and review UML diagrams architecture diagrams and design specifications.
  
• Write high-quality code perform code reviews and ensure compliance with best practices performance and security standards.
  
• Contribute as an individual contributor (IC) in a client-facing setup representing delivery excellence to Siemens stakeholders.
  
• Mentor junior engineers (where needed) and provide solutions to complex technical challenges.
  

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Core Java J2EE Servlets deep expertise fully hands-on.
  
• Strong knowledge of concurrency collections multithreading synchronization and locks (read/write locks).
  
• Expertise in data structures algorithms OOPS concepts (association relationships class-object fundamentals).
  
• Strong understanding of monolithic architecture and exposure to modernization towards cloud/SaaS.
  
• Experience in writing unit test cases (JUnit/TestNG).
  
• Problem-solving ability through low-level design UML diagrams and system design concepts.
  
• Hands-on experience in building scalable performant applications.
  
• Exposure to client-facing roles and working with product architects or services companies managing long-term ODCs.
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Azure/AWS cloud deployments.
  
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
  
• Prior experience in large-scale enterprise product development (companies like GS Labs Persistent Nvidia Veritas Symantec preferred).
  
• SaaS enablement experience.
  

Educational Qualification

• / MCA (or equivalent).
