Job Summary

This is a remote position.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a talented Senior iOS Developer to join our growing team at Echelon Fitness. As an

iOS Developer you will be working on challenges such as live streaming and on-demand video

consumption bluetooth and other IOT devices. All of our applications are 100% native and use the latest

design guidelines. We encourage our developers to be passionate about our customers products and

our tech stack.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing robust iOS applications as part of a team using Android Studio.

Perform timely and thoughtful code reviews for your teammates.

Working with designers and design tools to build the product to strict specifications.

Ensuring we comply with best practices for user interface development including accessibility

and internationalization / localization.

Develop within an Agile workflow.

Use the teams agreed upon coding standards and practices and influence them yourself.

Continue to learn and improve as a software engineer.

EXPERIENCE:

5 years of professional experience.

Significant Swift expertise.

Exposure or previous experience with Objective-C.

Bluetooth GATT profiles and characteristics.

Working within a defined and disciplined release cycle.

Using version control software preferably Git paired with GitFlow.

Familiar with automation testing build and continuous integration using Gradle.

Experience with REST APIs and JSON.

Dependency Injection with or without Dagger.

SKILLS:

Modern iOS and WatchOS development and design patterns.

Strong Swift knowledge

Very comfortable with reactive style programming using RxSwift

Clear communication with teammates and QA.

Work effectively with project managers by providing clear estimates.

EDUCATION:

Four-year College Degree in CS CE Mobile Development or a related field OR Equivalent

combination of education and experience.
