Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Trainee Procurement to join our Procurement team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 1 year of experience who are interested in developing a career in procurement sourcing vendor management and supply chain operations. The trainee will gain hands-on experience supporting procurement activities while learning industry best practices and organizational procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Support
- Assist in the procurement of goods materials and services as per business requirements.
- Support the preparation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs.
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Vendor Management
- Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers.
- Maintain supplier databases and procurement records.
- Communicate with vendors regarding quotations order status and delivery schedules.
- Support vendor onboarding and documentation processes.
Sourcing & Market Research
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and pricing trends.
- Assist in preparing comparative analysis reports for supplier selection.
- Support sourcing initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain procurement files contracts and purchasing records.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing procurement reports and MIS documentation.
- Support audit requirements by maintaining accurate records.
Inventory & Coordination
- Coordinate with stores and logistics teams to track material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities.
- Assist in resolving supply-related issues and delivery delays.
- Collaborate with finance teams for invoice processing and payment tracking.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Commerce Engineering or a related field.
- 01 year of experience in procurement sourcing supply chain or administrative support roles.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
