GenAI & NLP Python Developer | Cloud & Model Optimization

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled GenAI & NLP Python Developer to lead the development deployment and optimization of advanced AI models specializing in generative AI and natural language processing. This role involves designing scalable AI solutions fine-tuning large language models leveraging cloud platforms and integrating AI-driven features into business workflows. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to develop innovative applications stay abreast of the latest AI research and contribute to strategic initiatives that enable our organization to harness AI for operational excellence and competitive advantage.

Software Requirements

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in Python focusing on AI/ML applications with proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow

• Proven expertise in training fine-tuning and deploying large language models like GPT BERT or similar architectures

• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS GCP or Azure for model deployment management and automation

• Familiarity with NLP libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers and SpaCy for building NLP pipelines

• Strong knowledge of version control: Git and collaborative development workflows

• Experience in data processing using Pandas NumPy and data management in NoSQL/relational databases

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to model optimization tools such as ONNX TensorRT for deployment acceleration

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for scalable AI services

• Familiarity with AI monitoring MLOps practices and pipeline automation tools

Overall Responsibilities

• Design develop and refine generative AI and NLP models for diverse use cases including language understanding text generation and data insights

• Fine-tune pre-trained models implement transfer learning and adapt architectures to specific business needs

• Deploy models on cloud platforms optimizing for scalability reliability and security

• Collaborate with product teams data scientists and engineers to translate business requirements into AI solutions

• Conduct model evaluations performance tuning and validation to ensure robust deployment-ready solutions

• Automate training deployment and monitoring workflows supporting continuous integration and delivery pipelines

• Stay current with innovations in AI/ML especially generative models and NLP and integrate best practices into projects

• Provide technical mentorship within the team and support in troubleshooting complex AI/ML issues

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages:

• Required: Python (essential) with capability in scripting and automation

• Preferred: Knowledge of C or Java for integration or performance optimization

Frameworks & Libraries:

• Essential: PyTorch TensorFlow Hugging Face Transformers SpaCy

• Preferred: ONNX TensorRT for model optimization

Data Management:

• SQL (MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle) for data storage and validation

• NoSQL (MongoDB Cassandra) for handling unstructured data

Cloud & Deployment:

• Deep experience deploying AI models on AWS (SageMaker) GCP (Vertex AI) Azure (Azure ML)

• Containerization: Docker (preferred) Kubernetes (preferred)

Development & DevOps Tools:

• Git Jenkins GitHub Actions Terraform (for cloud infrastructure support)

ML & Data Pipeline Orchestration:

• Knowledge of Airflow Kubeflow or similar tools

Security & Compliance:

• Data privacy model security encryption and industry-standard compliance practices

Experience Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in AI/ML development with significant hands-on experience in large language models and NLP

• Proven experience deploying models at scale within cloud environments

• Experience fine-tuning optimizing and monitoring AI models for production use

• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into effective AI/ML solutions

• Cross-disciplinary collaboration with data science software engineering and business teams

Day-to-Day Activities

• Build train and fine-tune generative AI and NLP models for various enterprise applications

• Develop automated workflows for model deployment testing and monitoring in cloud environments

• Collaborate with product and data teams to identify AI opportunities and translate them into scalable solutions

• Evaluate new algorithms tools and research to enhance existing models and workflows

• Troubleshoot model performance issues optimize inference speed and manage resource constraints

• Document model architecture training procedures and deployment configurations

• Support prompt engineering bias mitigation and model governance activities

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Artificial Intelligence or related fields

• 4 years of experience in AI/ML development especially with generative models and NLP applications

• Proven expertise in Python deep learning technologies and cloud deployment techniques

• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) or AI specific credentials are advantageous
