Reporting To: Head of Fleet Operations
Key responsibilities:
Champion the safety and well-being of our personnel both at sea and ashore.
Oversee a reliable and responsive fleet minimizing disruptions and maximizing customer satisfaction.
Drive initiatives for fuel efficiency and waste reduction in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Develop and manage budgets with a focus on total cost of ownership ensuring fiscal responsibility and cost-effectiveness.
Scout for strategic investment opportunities that promise significant cost advantages.
Provide insightful updates to management on key operational developments.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to preemptively address potential network impacts.
Conduct thorough business analyses to inform decision-making and uphold budgetary integrity.
Guarantee compliance with all regulatory standards through timely vessel surveys.
Lead cultural shifts within our seafaring and shore-based teams fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
Mentor team members guiding their professional growth and career advancement.

Were looking for:
A proven track record in ship management especially within large-scale operations.
Recent leadership experience demonstrating the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
An adaptable forward-thinking approach capable of thriving in a matrixed environment.
Exceptional communication skills with a talent for managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
A passion for sustainability particularly in decarbonization and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Seafaring experience is highly preferred but can be compensated with other strong related experience
