Minimum 2 years of experience in Finacle/Application Support
Experience in Banking Production Support environments preferred
Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Monitoring
Troubleshoot production issues and outages ensuring quick resolution.
Perform Level-1 Service Request closures.
Monitor alerts generated through monitoring tools and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
Conduct daily health checks on applications middleware and database servers.
Execute daily operational checklists including End of Day (EOD) and Beginning of Day (BOD) activities.
Application & Infrastructure Management
Support application deployment activities through Change Request (CR) execution.
Handle backend database updates and maintenance activities.
Manage SSL certificate renewals and tracking.
Support server maintenance OS patching and vulnerability remediation.
Coordinate port opening and firewall-related requests.
Automation & Process Improvement
Automate manual operational processes using tools such as Control-M and Robotics Process Automation (RPA).
Participate in application upgrade and migration activities.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new and existing processes.
Disaster Recovery & Compliance
Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and related activities.
Maintain backup policies and ensure periodic reviews.
Support audit activities and compliance requirements.
Maintain infrastructure and application inventory records.
Operational Excellence
Schedule planned production activities ensuring UAT sign-offs and downtime approvals.
Perform data purging activities where required.
Support knowledge transfer and server induction processes.
Ensure timely closure of operational gaps and compliance findings.
Technical Requirements
Strong knowledge of Finacle Core Banking Solution (CBS)
Experience with Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting
Good understanding of SQL and database queries
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as VuSmartMaps Dynatrace or similar solutions
Knowledge of WebLogic Tomcat OpenShift Oracle Database and OHS
Experience in banking production support environments
Preferred Candidate Profile
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment when required
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience handling critical banking applications and production incidents
