Job Description:

We are looking for software engineer for web development to join our team at the Pratt & Whitney India Engineering Center (IEC) in Bengaluru successful candidate will join the EDSI Aftermarket engineering organizations team responsible for the development deployment and support of game-changing software applications which includes the automation of both technical and business processes that will enable Pratt & Whitney to continually push the state of the art in engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand the needs of the engineering organization and translate those needs into clear software requirements which will drive the design development and testing of high-quality software for the engineering organization.
• Develop new user-centric pages components and apps.
• Ensure feasibility and excellent user experience.
• Setup scalable server infrastructure and databases in the cloud environment.
• Opportunity for full stack development and being involved in all stages of the software development process.
• Exhibit the project leadership in terms of milestones schedules & quality of deliverables.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (with 4 yr experience) or Advanced degree (with 2 yr experience) in Engineering Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2 year of experience in ANY of the following: Python JavaScript HTML SQL CSS.
• 2 years of experience in full stack software development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues efficiently.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong developer who is comfortable learning new languages libraries and frameworks
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of server-side languages and frameworks such as Django (Python) / (Node).
• Expertise in building user interfaces and experiences with React / .
• Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL)
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
