The Desktop Support Administrator I is responsible for the resolution of on-site and remote client service requests issues and training. These service requests and issues include but are not limited to supporting PC hardware operating systems software mobile devices executive support conference room technology printers and user education. Assist in identifying issues and root causes using problem analysis and then implementing temporary or permanent fixes to restore service to the customer as soon as possible. Engaging other support teams as needed to assist in resolutions to issues requests and training.
We are looking for Desktop Support Admin I who will:
- You will install configure and support computing technology
- You will Participate in on-call after hours/weekend rotating schedule
- You are accountable for hardware and software inventory
- You will maintain documentation for team processes procedures and knowledge articles to ensure accuracy.
- You will perform executive conference room and meeting support which could include assisting with meeting setup conference room technology and other solutions
- Regular and reliable attendance is required
- Incumbent is accountable for professional working behavior to include:
- Building and maintaining constructive working relationships
- Implementing proactive and concise communications
- Acting as a resource to colleagues
- Engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving while demonstrating CSGs core competencies and values
- Employee may perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities as needed
Is this opportunity right for you We are looking for candidates who have:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience required
- 13 years of previous deskside / IT floor support experience in a corporate environment
- Experience in laptop provisioning for employee onboarding and asset recovery during offboarding
- CompTIA A Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or Jamf Certified Associate/Technician
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Office 365 Windows 11 Microsoft Teams Active Directory MFA PowerShell VoIP systems network printers audio/video conferencing equipment Citrix environments Microsoft Cloud PC Intune device management Microsoft Autopilot JAMF SCCM and remote support tools such as Bomgar.
- Familiarity with ticketing and ITSM platforms including Remedy JIRA Helix and Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Experience with mobile device provisioning and endpoint lifecycle management is beneficial.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies tools and professional IT support concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to provide after-hours and on-call support for executive escalations outages emergency incidents office moves and other critical business needs including weekends and holidays as required.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals terminology troubleshooting and end-user connectivity support.
- Ability to create update and follow technical procedures and support documentation to ensure operational consistency and clarity.
- Self-motivated with a proactive customer-focused and team-oriented approach.
- Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies endpoint management solutions and desktop support best practices
