• Position Purpose:

  • We areseekinga highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design build andoptimizeour data pipelines and backend services. The idealcandidate will havea strong foundationin Java and API development with deepexpertisein MongoDB and cloudinfrastructure to ensure scalable and high-performance datadesign.
  • We are looking for top-notch energetic talent to keep up with the industrys momentum and support theDevelopmentefforts.
  • The candidate should be able to independently design build debugmaintain and enhanceDatasolutions while collaborating effectively withOnshore stakeholders

• Responsibilities:

  Direct Responsibilities

  • Design& Development: Design and implement robust scalable data pipelines and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • DatabaseAspects: Lead the design of MongoDB schemas/data modelingoptimizecomplex queries and manage indexing strategies to ensure high availability and low latency.
  • API Integration: Develop andmaintainsecure high-performance RESTful APIs tofacilitateseamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage data workloads on cloud platforms ( CloudAWS Azure or GCP)leveragingmanaged services forcomputeand storage.
  • Performance Tuning: Conduct deep-dive analysis of system bottlenecks and implement performance optimizations across the data stack.
  • Code Quality: Perform rigorous code reviews and implement automated testing frameworks (JUnit Mockito) tomaintainhigh software quality standards.
  • Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
  • Closely workwith Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the projectobjectives.
  • Must have good analytical skills.

• Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Experience of6-8years inData Engineering fieldwith working experience in Mongo DBAPIIntegrationand cloudinfrastructure
  • Expertproficiencyin Java and experience with modern frameworks (Spring Boot).
  • Advanced knowledge of MongoDB (Aggregation framework Sharding Replication and Atlas).
  • Mastery of REST API design principles OAuth2 and API Gateway management.
  • Proven experience with cloud environments
  • Proficiencywith Git Maven/Gradle and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good knowledgeand experienceofwriting complexSQLqueries.
  • Proficient in analytical skills (required)
  • Excellent oral and writing communication skills (required)
  • Experience in working in Agile environment
  • Knowledge of Payments and/or Card Payments is a nice to have

  Specific Qualifications:

  • Minimum6-8years of experience along withBachelors Degree- inIT Computerrelatedfieldor equivalent experience.
