Position Purpose:

• We are looking for a strongDatawarehousing resourcewith5to7years of hands-on experience inIBMDatastagestrongSQLprogrammingskills in Teradatadatabasegood hands-on on python programmingandCI/CD.

• Thecandidatewill be a member of theMarketing Data WarehouseTribe working on the designdevelopmentandoptimization of data integration processes.

• The candidate should be able to independently design build debugmaintain and enhancedata pipelineswhile collaborating effectively withdifferent stakeholders.

• The role focuses on translating business requirements into robust scalable data pipelines datamodeling andselfservice analytics while ensuring dataqualitygovernanceand performance standards of the BNPParibas group.

Responsibilities:

Direct Responsibilities

• Design build andmaintaindata pipelines inIBMDatastageto ingesttransformand expose data from source systems (Relational flatfilesetc.) into the enterprise data warehouse.

• Implementdatawarehousingconcepts(dimensional modellingslowlychangingdimensions star/snowflake schemas) to support analytical reporting and BI consumption.

• Develop Python/Shell Scriptingcodeto automate day-to-day tasks and performrequired.

• Ensure data quality and consistencyby defining validation rules unit tests and automateddataqualitychecksimplementation.

• Collaborate with data architects and business analyststo translate functional requirements into technical specifications functionaldesignsand implementation plans.

• Document technical and functional artifacts(design specs data dictionaries operationalrunbooks) and contribute toknowledgebasefor the Data Tribe.

• Set up CI/CD pipelines(GitLab) to automate testingversioningand deployment across environments (dev / test / prod).

• Support production incidentsand performrootcauseanalysis apply fixes and preventive measures.

• Drive technical excellence byestablishingcoding standards performing architectural reviews and mentoring junior engineers to foster a high-performing engineering culture.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Act as ateam playerand activelyparticipatein squad ceremonies (standups sprint planning retrospectives).

• Adhere to Group standards(coding conventions securitydatagovernance CI/CD).

• Promote a culture ofcontinuous learning sharing insights aboutdatawarehousetrends and emerging technologies.

• Work closely withcrossfunctionalteams(Data Scientist BI Business Units) to understand data needs and deliver reliable solutions.

• Able tointegrate in aFrench-Indianagile extended team.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Experience of5-7years increating data-warehousing solutionsusingIBMDatastage.

• Strong background indatawarehousingconcepts ETLpipelinesand performance tuning.

• Strong SQLprogramminghands-on experience in creating procedures functions writingcomplex SQL queries.

• Programming -Strong hands-on experience in Pythonconcepts such asOOPs reusable utilities exception handling debugging and clean code practices.

• Handsonwith GitLab JenkinsAnsibleor similar tools to automate builds and deployments.

• Experience in Scheduling tool Autosys/any other.

• Experienced user of ALM/QC JIRA Confluence SharePoint.

• Excellent oral and writing communication skills.

• Experience in working inAgileenvironment.

• AddOn(Nicetohave)Data Visualizationexposure to tools such asPowerBI/Tableau.

Specific Qualifications:

• Minimum5-7years of experience along withBachelors Degree- inIT Computerrelatedfieldor equivalent experience.
