Data Engineer Azure Modern Data Platform

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Modern Data Platform technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing developing and supporting scalable data solutions using Azure and Microsoft BI technologies.

As an Azure Data Engineer expect to be:

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Design develop and deliver data-driven solutions using Microsoft Azure and SQL Data Analytics technologies
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality solution delivery
• Support and contribute to development activities including coding testing and deployment
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and external professional communities.

Qualifications :

Core:

• Power BI
• Data Modelling
• DAX
• Power Query
• Data Visualisation
• T-SQL
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Data Warehouse Design Principles

Supporting:

• SQL Server
• Other BI / Data Visualisation Tools
• Data Engineering on Modern Azure platform
• PowerApps
• Analysis Services
• R/Python

Principles:

• Data Modelling
• Data Warehouse Theory
• Data Architecture
• Master Data Management

Good to Have Skills:

• Hands on experience on Azure
• Azure Analytics Services
• Azure Synapse
• Data Analytics stack (SSIS SSAS SSRS)
• Azure infrastructure
• Microsoft certified.
