Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Data practice. The role focuses on data engineering ETL development analysis and insights within the Banking/Finance domain while also requiring basic exposure to Data Governance Data Quality and Data Modeling concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Design build and optimize ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing using Python PySpark and SQL.

Work with diverse financial data sources to extract clean transform and integrate datasets.

Collaborate with business teams to translate banking/finance requirements into data-driven solutions.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting validation and analytics use cases.

Provide data analysis and insights to support business compliance and regulatory initiatives.

Apply exposure-level knowledge of Data Governance Data Quality and Data Modeling to support best practices.

Ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance in data solutions within financial services.

Work in agile teams mentoring junior members and collaborating with stakeholders across technology and business.

Required Skills & Experience

7 years of hands-on experience in Data Analysis ETL and Data Engineering.

Strong programming experience in Python with proficiency in PySpark.

Expertise in SQL for data extraction transformation and reporting.

Hands-on experience working with banking or finance domain datasets.

Exposure or understanding of:

Data Governance (lineage metadata access management)

Data Quality (basic rules monitoring validations)

Data Modeling (dimensional models logical/physical concepts)

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and in agile cross-functional teams.
