About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with a strong data engineering foundation to help design build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for our data platforms. This role is ideal for someone who has worked hands-on with data pipelines and wants to deepen their expertise in cloud architecture infrastructure automation and platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting data pipelines and analytics workloads
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data storage compute and networking on the cloud
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and data workflows
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor cloud environments for performance cost optimization and security compliance
• Support migration of on-prem or legacy data systems to cloud-native architectures
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues across cloud environments
• Work closely with data engineers DevOps and architects to ensure reliable scalable systems

Required Skills & Experience

• 25 years of overall experience with a background in data engineering (building pipelines working with data platforms/tools like Spark Databricks Airflow etc.)
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS Azure or GCP)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps)
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation
