The Lead Data Engineer provides technical leadership in the design development and optimization of scalable data pipelines and architecture. This role leads data engineering projects mentors team members and collaborates across functions to deliver high-impact data solutions that enable analytics automation and product innovation.

• Leads the design and development of advanced ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-native data platforms.

• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reliable data solutions.

• Establishes standards for data quality validation monitoring and pipeline resilience.

• Mentors data engineers conducts code reviews and shares best practices across teams.

• Drives improvements in data architecture tooling and automation to support analytics and product features.

• Partners with product analytics and engineering teams to align data engineering efforts with business priorities.

• Evaluates and integrates new technologies frameworks and processes to improve scalability and performance.

• 8 years of experience in data engineering platform development or distributed systems

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field

• Advanced proficiency in SQL Python and data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow dbt)

• Proven experience leading technical teams or complex engineering projects

• Strong experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift) and DevOps practices

• Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
