Job Summary
BIM Intern Electrical
Duration: 6 Months
Role Overview
The BIM Intern (Electrical) will support the BIM/Electrical team in developing updating and coordinating electrical BIM models for building projects. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain handson experience in BIM workflows and Revit (Electrical).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and modifying electrical BIM models using Revit
- Prepare basic electrical layouts drawings and documentation
- Support clash detection and coordination with other disciplines
- Update BIM models as per design changes and project requirements
- Follow BIM standards naming conventions and project guidelines
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed Diploma / B.E. / in Electrical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Revit (Electrical) and electrical building systems
- Understanding of electrical layouts (lighting power etc.) is a plus
- Willingness to learn BIM processes and industry workflows
- Good communication and teamwork skills
