GitLab Bamboo TFS SVN to Azure DevOps Services and to design build and operate production grade
pipelines natively in Azure DevOps

GitLab Bamboo TFS SVN to Azure DevOps Services and to design build and operate production grade
pipelines natively in Azure DevOps
Key Responsibilities
Migration delivery Lead end to end migration of legacy CI CD platforms Jenkins GitLab CI Bamboo
TFS TFVC on prem Azure DevOps Server to Azure DevOps Services including repos pipelines work
items artifacts and service connections
Release engineering Implement environment based deployments approvals gates and variable groups
using Azure DevOps Environments and Library integrate with Azure Key Vault for secret management.
Containers amp cloud native Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to Azure Kubernetes
Service AKS Azure App Service and Azure Container Apps via Azure DevOps pipelines
Infrastructure as Code Author and maintain Terraform Bicep or ARM templates and deploy
infrastructure through Azure DevOps pipelines with proper state management and policy guardrails
DevSecOps Embed SAST DAST SCA container scanning and IaC scanning e.g SonarQube Checkmarx
Snyk Trivy Defender for DevOps into pipelines as required quality gates
Required Skills and Experience
5 years in DevOps Build amp Release Platform Engineering roles with a clear track record of CI CD
modernization
3 years of hands on Azure DevOps Services experience Repos Pipelines Classic and YAML Boards
Artifacts Test Plans
Proficiency with Docker Kubernetes AKS and Helm comfortable debugging container builds and
deployments inside pipelines
Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and or Bicep including pipeline driven plan apply
workflows
Strong scripting in PowerShell and Bash familiarity with REST APIs and Azure DevOps APIs for automation
and reporting
Solid Git fundamentals branching strategies GitFlow trunk based pull request workflows and branch
policies
Good understanding of secure SDLC practices secret management and integrating security scanning tools
Nice to Have
Azure certifications AZ 400 DevOps Engineer Expert AZ 104 or AZ 305
Experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise alongside Azure DevOps
Ownership mindset drives migrations to completion across dependencies and competing priorities
