Position Title: Area Manager Location: PAN India Reporting To: Regional Manager Department: Services - Auction
Objective: To manage and drive auction operations within the assigned area by ensuring effective execution of yard and online auctions strengthening buyer participation improving vehicle listings and supporting field teams to achieve higher conversion and bidding outcomes while maintaining operational discipline and timely reporting. Accountability: Plan organize and execute offline auctions within the assigned region ensuring maximum participation fostering competitive bidding and achieving successful auction outcomes. Support and guide Key Accounts Executives (KAE) in onboarding new buyers and managing renewal of existing buyers to strengthen the active buyer base. Actively engage with regular and high-potential buyers to drive participation and increase bid volumes across auctions. Coordinate closely with area and local managers to improve the quantity and quality of vehicle listings and ensure readiness for auctions. Travel across the state as required to conduct yard auctions and support on-ground execution for improved conversion performance. Monitor area-level auction performance and maintain accurate MIS sharing daily reports and updates with the Regional Manager (RM) for review and action. Competencies: Strong understanding of yard and online auction operations Good people coordination and buyer engagement skills Ability to drive participation bidding activity and conversions Working knowledge of MIS reporting and basic CRM systems Willingness to travel and manage field-level operations independently Experience: Bachelors degree or higher is required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in auction operations field sales area operations or marketplace-driven businesses. Prior exposure to vehicle auctions asset sales or B2B platforms will be an added advantage. Languages Preferred: English and Regional language
