Job Summary
We are on the hunt for a skilled Apptio Developer with strong expertise in Technology Business Management (TBM) to support cost transparency financial planning and IT investment optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring and developing solutions within the ApptioOne platform working closely with finance IT and business stakeholders to deliver accurate cost models reporting and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain ApptioOne (TBM) applications including cost models allocations and reporting structures.
- Configure data ingestion transformation and validation pipelines within Apptio.
- Build and maintain cost transparency models (infrastructure applications services).
- Develop dashboards reports and financial insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT Finance and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into Apptio solutions.
- Perform data mapping and integration from multiple sources (ERP CMDB cloud platforms etc.).
- Ensure data accuracy reconciliation and governance within Apptio.
- Support forecasting budgeting and planning processes using Apptio tools.
- Optimize existing models for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data models and reporting.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3 7 years of experience in Apptio development / TBM implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience with ApptioOne / TBM Studio / Cost Transparency.
- Experience building cost models allocations and financial reports.
- Proficiency in data modeling ETL processes and data transformation.
- Experience integrating Apptio with ERP systems (SAP Oracle) CMDB tools and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Strong understanding of IT financial management budgeting and forecasting.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of TBM taxonomy and FinOps practices.
- Experience with Apptio modules such as Costing Standard Planning or Cloudability.
- Exposure to SQL Python or BI tools (Power BI Tableau).
- Experience in cloud cost optimization and financial governance.
- Relevant certifications in Apptio / TBM / FinOps.

- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
