Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Practitioner with foundational Unix/Linux expertise for a large-scale Mainframe Rehosting Program involving migration from IBM z/OS to Unikix.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end validation of mainframe batch jobs and online transactions

Validate functional equivalence between z/OS and Unikix environments

Conduct SIT regression baseline comparison and performance testing

Execute and monitor batch cycles reruns restarts and abend analysis

Compare flat files VSAM datasets reports and database outputs

Create test plans validation strategies and documentation

Support parallel run execution and migration validation

Write basic Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation and validation support

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies

Knowledge of z/OS Unikix batch processing and online validation

Exposure to CA7 Scheduler

Basic Unix/Linux scripting knowledge

Strong analytical and defect resolution skills
