Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong passion for exploring and adopting new technologies that can enhance project outcomes.
• Responsible for writing clean secure code ideally following a test-driven approach
• Code that others can reuse.
• Guide new developers in the onboarding process and provide ongoing technical support to foster their growth and productivity.
• Apply technical knowledge and experience to create or design workable prototypes and outputs
• Translate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet user needs and engage in meaningful interactions and relationships with users when required.
• Adopt a modern approach to standards
• Apply appropriate design standards methods and tools and ensure they are applied effectively.
• Collaborative keen to share knowledge and learn continually
• Approach challenges with innovative thinking exploring outside-the-box solutions
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all aspects of software development to aid in ongoing maintenance and future revisions.
• You collaborate with other IT specialists technicians etc. to deliver software solutions
• You participate in on-going training to stay current in required skills.

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change step up and show whats next people with passion can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and practice this means:

• You have at least 5 years experience in mobile app development in Kotlin Compose
• You work easily with Git/GitLab repositories
• You have experience with modern Android tooling (Gradle Firebase SonarQube)
• You have working knowledge of CI / CD tools
• You have a degree in software engineering computer science or similar field
• You have experience in the software design/development field
• You have great analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are organized and skilled in time-management
• You are very accurate and demonstrate high attention to detail
• You have a willingness to learn additional technologies and programming languages
• You have sophisticated interpersonal and communication skills
• You are fluent in English oral and written

Skills wed like:

• You have working knowledge of Compose Multiplatform / Kotlin Multiplatform technology
• Show strong sills in pedagogy to facilitate the onboarding and progress of new colleagues
• Experience of Agile working GitFlow

• You stay up to date with new technologies and systems and can quickly learn about them
