Job Description:

The focus of this position will be to help design build and manage financial and operational models within Anaplan in order to provide key business and financial insights to business stakeholders.

The candidate will be a part of a global team that is on a digital transformation mission and is working to integrate different business platforms in order to create a seamless architecture that will help facilitate intelligent and intuitive financial as well business planning along with generating material business insights.

The individual will work closely with Anaplan solution architects Anaplan junior-level model builders and the Anaplan team along with various functional stakeholders. The individual will help translate existing business processes into Anaplan.

The candidate must also demonstrate excellent communication and technical skills.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the collection of business requirements

Assist in current-state process mapping exercises

Articulate design and documentation for Anaplan models (process map user guide solution design document)

Translate business requirements in the form of Excel models and/or user stories into efficient and scalable high-functioning Anaplan models.

Successfully build and identify various dimensions lists (hierarchies) and line items and create a user-friendly solution

Create Hub-Spoke structures along with dynamic user Pages

Work with subject area data experts to identify new or enhanced data to support the new or enhanced planning capabilities

Collaborate with Business Architects to stay current with business design as well as to support deployed solutions for the associated stakeholders

Develop test cases and assist in UAT for technical and functional acceptance

Closely follow Anaplan model building best practices (e.g. DISCO PLANS Planual)
