Job Summary

Morgan Stanleys Wealth Management Litigation team isseekinga dedicated and skilled paralegal to support our growing team of attorneys. As part of the Global Litigation Department you will play a crucial role in handling client-related arbitrations civil litigations and regulatory matters for our WealthManagement business segment which includes advisor-led self-directedE*TRADE andworkplace channels.

In the Legal and Compliance Division (LCD) weprovidea wide range of services for our business units. They might help to structure a complex and sensitive cross-border transaction; advise on a new product introduction; develop a training program or defuse an investor dispute. They preserve the firms invaluable reputation for integrity and protect the firm from sanctions with policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements around the world. They also strive tomaintaincooperative relationships with governmental policy makers and the regulatory and self-regulatory agencies that govern the firms businesses.

What you will do in the role:

  • Provide litigation support to attorneys handling arbitrations civil litigation regulatory enforcement investigations and customer complaints.

  • Collect andanalyzedocuments from internal systems departments and clients for review and production.

  • Prepare financial summaries and documents to support collection efforts.

  • Analyzerecords to create demonstratives for arbitration hearings mediations or regulatory matters.

  • Compilemaintain and coordinate case files and records.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Qualified lawyer with an LLB degree (LLM is an advantage).

  • 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a professional environment.

  • Strong understanding of legal documents and terminologies.

  • Comfort with technology andproficiencyin technical systems and programs.

What will help you in the role:

  • Prior experience in legal operations or reference data.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and interact with diverse individuals.

  • Basic understanding and exposure to general legal concepts and terminologies will be an added advantage

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

  • High levelof organization and attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency with AI tools is an advantage.
