Collaborating with global stakeholders and suppliers you will help shape innovative solutions that ensure reliable and efficient operations across our LEGO factories.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
In this position you will play a pivotal role in advancing strategic logistics technologies while fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive the global agenda. You will work closely with the internal Technology Platform Owner with a particular focus on maintenance technologies and solutions for logistics equipment in our high-bay warehouse helping to ensure high reliability performance and operational excellence. More specifically you will:
Lead the integration and implementation of innovative technologies to improve operational service automation and logistics workflows.
Analyze operational data feedback risks and opportunities to identify pain points and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global standards.
Monitor evaluate and report project progress implementation impacts and operational outcomes to stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
Develop maintain and update technical functional and contractual documentation and specifications.
Drive productivity and performance improvements across machines equipment automation and logistics processes.
Plan coordinate and execute system validation activities including FAT and SAT testing to ensure successful implementation.
Support and coordinate projects across the logistics portfolio while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder collaboration.
Define priorities short-term deliverables and implementation plans while ensuring effective project execution and operational continuity.
Manufacturing Design & Implementation (MD&I) is a global engineering and project organization supporting our LEGO factories with capacityexpansion. You will join our sub-team in Nyíregyháza Hungary consisting of four skilled and dedicated colleagues.
As Technology Manager you will have a significant role in continuously improving the technologies that enable our internal customers to succeed with their manufacturing objectives and in this way contribute to the successes of ONE LEGO Team.
The ideal candidate brings 3 years of experience in a technical and/or engineering role with specialist-level expertise in warehouseautomation logistics/distribution material handling equipment or equivalent. Additionally you bring:
Strong practical experience in supply chain management automation and logistics systems.
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently delivering results and meeting deadlines.
Adaptable and flexible mindset able to respond effectively to changing environments challenges and new technologies.
Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust collaboration and strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Creative and solution-oriented approach focused on innovation and continuous workflow improvement.
Excellentcommunication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to stakeholders.
Proficiency in English and Hungarian both written and verbal.
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
Furthermore it would be an advantage if you have:
Knowledge of warehouse technologies e.g. Shuttle racking systems.
Experience driving logistics automation on the shop floor.
IT user-level skills including SAP.
