In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Develop and grow technical writers through coaching feedback and career development support
Manage performance and support the professional growth of team members
Ensure the team delivers high-quality usable documentation that meets user and business needs
Partner with documentation project managers to support successful delivery outcomes
Enable team effectiveness by providing clear direction and support
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align documentation with product priorities
Influence stakeholders to improve documentation outcomes and user experience
Work with other Documentation leaders to help define the direction of the organization
Foster an environment of innovation accountability and continuous improvement
Identify efficiency gain opportunities and drive improvements within the team
Drive the adoption and effective use of tools and technologies including AI-assisted solutions to strengthen team efficiency and documentation outcomes

12 years of experience leading and developing teams including performance management and coaching

Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple functions and levels
Experience working with technical subject matter
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
3 years of experience in technical writing or a related field
Demonstrated ability to develop and grow individuals and build high-performing teams
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound decisions
Business-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value to customers and the organization
Ability to think strategically and at a systems level connecting team output to broader organizational goals
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and support team delivery in a dynamic environment
Educational background in English Technical Communication or a writing-intensive or technical discipline
Familiarity with AI-assisted writing tools and their use in documentation workflows
