The Position

Please note that this position is a 2year-fixed term opportunity.

The Opportunity

As a Travel and Expense Analyst you will play a key role in ensuring an adequate and sustainable adherence of Companys policies Local/External regulatory requirements process and procedures in order to minimize the compliance risks. Travel and Expense Analyst has a strong understanding of the business processes audit and assurance and their main responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Responsible for assessing compliance of employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner against the Companys Policies Procedures and External regulatory requirements
  • Determine daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of tasks and milestones
  • Maintain a productive working relationship with partners to enhance service satisfaction and work with collaborators at all levels
  • Ensure continuous monitoring and updating of the checklist based on Industry Codes Roche Group Directives and local policies
  • Clearly documents all compliance assessment (i.e assessment results) by completing/updating documentation
  • Escalate issues and recommend resolution plans in a timely manner to the RSS Line Manager and Affiliate (where required)
  • Participate in related projects and other ad-hoc tasks or analysis assigned by Line Manager/Global Lead (e.g. Support the preparation of reports and training material on a periodic basis to address updates to the compliance monitoring process)

Who you are

  • You are degree qualified preferably in Finance or Economics with more than 1 year of experience in internal audit or compliance and its implementation in a highly regulated environment
  • You communicate effectively; fluency in written and spoken English and German are required
  • You bring a keen eye for detail strong analytical skills and a compliance-focused mindset
  • You think out of the box challenge the status quo effective conflict resolution skill with excellent teamwork and professionalism
  • You adapt well to changes with a growth mindset and take ownership of personal development
  • Experience with Concur related T&E SAP systems is an advantage
