We are on a growth journey now looking for an experiences Strategic Buyer for supporting our Recreational Vehicle OE segment.

About the position

As a Strategic Buyer you will be involved in managing different EMEA level sourcing and purchasing projects with plastic and metal raw material.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsibility for the assigned subcategories set up category management team to define and execute category strategy
• Identification of purchasing projects and savings potentials
• Deployment of projects and tasks within the goals set by the Sourcing manager
• Tracking and monitoring budgeted saving projects execution
• Reporting to the LVE Exterior Sourcing Manager
• Collection and bundling of all purchasing volumes at all locations linked to LVE Exterior Sub-Segment
• Active supporting role in DPDP / DPIP projects in coordination with the responsible Sourcing Project Manager colleagues
• Market analysis and price development and creation of measures
• Establishing close working relationships with internal teams (e.g. PD PM SCM Sales)
• Identify and qualify suppliers & participation in supplier audits
• Preparation of make-or-buy decisions under consideration of target costs TCO
• Conclusion of contracts for the development of delivery strategies
• Supplier development and building a supplier relationship
• Ensuring the material supply in the EMEA plants in cooperation with SCM; e.g. development and implementation of SCM services in the EMEA plants (Kanban / JIT consignation stock)
• Other tasks as specified by the Head of Sourcing LVE and LVE Exterior Sourcing Manager
