Lead Statutory Accounting in a Global Environment

We are looking for an experienced Key Accounting Manager to lead a small team of accounting professionals and take ownership of statutory accounting financial reporting audit coordination and compliance activities for entities within your scope. The role combines technical accounting expertise people leadership and stakeholder management in an international Shared Services environment.

Statutory Accounting & Compliance

  • Own the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements annual accounts notes and disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS local GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee statutory tax and regulatory filings.
  • Lead statutory and tax audits and act as the primary contact for auditors and authorities.
  • Maintain statutory ledgers and oversee local GAAP adjustments.

Financial Reporting

  • Lead month-end close activities and ensure timely Group reporting.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations journal entries and financial reporting packages.
  • Prepare and present Balance Sheet reviews to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with FINOPS and other Finance teams to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.

Team Leadership & Improvement

  • Lead and develop a small Key Accounting team (1-3 team members)
  • Set priorities allocate work and support team development.
  • Drive process improvements standardization and automation initiatives.
What you need to succeed
  • Degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
  • Strong experience in statutory accounting financial reporting and audits.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Experience in an international or shared services environment is an advantage is an advantage.
  • SAP and ERP system experience.
  • Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
