Job Summary
We are seeking a Purchasing Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives that enable operational excellence cost efficiency and resilient supply this role you will partner cross-functionally with engineering operations finance and suppliers to deliver high-quality materials and services while supporting innovation sustainability and long-term business growth.
- Develop and execute global and regional sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities and demand forecasts
- Lead supplier selection contract negotiations and category management to optimize total cost of ownership
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships driving performance through KPIs scorecards and continuous improvement plans
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on specifications timelines and budget expectations
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including dual sourcing inventory strategies and contingency planning
- Drive cost savings initiatives value engineering and process improvements across procurement activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies ethical sourcing standards and regulatory requirements
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve procurement performance
- Mentor and support team members fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and development
- Demonstrated experience in procurement strategic sourcing or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience working with suppliers in a global environment
- Knowledge of procurement systems and tools (e.g. ERP sourcing platforms)
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to ethical sourcing and compliance practices
- Experience managing complex categories (e.g. direct materials electronics mechanical components)
- Familiarity with cost modeling should-cost analysis or value engineering methodologies
- Exposure to sustainability initiatives and responsible sourcing practices
- Experience leading cross-functional or multicultural teams
- Background in manufacturing engineering or industrial environments
