Job Summary

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure timely delivery of project activities are met with high-quality within approved budget
  • Act as a role model to project participants and support team throughout all project phases
  • Lead project teams fostering a collaborative and productive work environment based on the pre-agreed RACI
  • Take part in project budget planning defining project timeline RACI communication plan
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outlines tasks timelines and resources
  • Monitor project progress adjusting plans as necessary to ensure timely completion
  • Prepare and hold update meetings on project statuses
  • Prepare and present project status reports dashboards and documentation to management and stakeholders
  • Communicate project updates risks and issues to stakeholders regularly ensuring transparency and alignment
  • Resolve conflicts and facilitate effective teamwork throughout the project lifecycle
  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for enhancement through digital finance tools
  • Implement best practices and methodologies to optimize project delivery and outcome

What will make you successful

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance field
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience
  • College / University degree or similar in finance field
  • Fluent English is a must. Any other language is a plus
  • Strong ability to influence and negotiate when communicating engaging people at all levels
  • Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to create an environment that delivers excellent customer service inspiring change in people and work culture
  • Strong skill set including decision making problem solving time management planning analysis and organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build partnerships both internally and externally with key stakeholders
  • Able to manage guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate processes are being used
  • Knowledge of finance softwares any project management tool is an advantage
  • Hands-on experiences in different finance processes is and advantage
  • Confident usage of MS excel and Power Point
