Oncology Key Account Manager Hungary
Job Summary
On behalf of our innovative multinational pharmaceutical client we are looking for Key Account Managers in Oncology to join their growing commercial team in Hungary. We are currently recruiting for two positions covering Eastern Hungary and Western Hungary offering the opportunity to contribute to the successful launch and growth of an innovative oncology portfolio. As a Key Account Manager you will play a key role in developing long-term customer relationships executing territory strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build develop and manage strategic relationships with oncology stakeholders key opinion leaders (KOLs) hospital decision-makers and other healthcare professionals within your assigned territory.
- Develop and execute tailored account plans aligned with local market dynamics customer needs and business objectives.
- Drive sales performance and achieve territory goals through high-quality engagement with priority oncology accounts and leading treatment centers.
- Identify new business opportunities address potential barriers and leverage customer insights to maximize account performance and patient access.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs Market Access Marketing Business Excellence and Commercial colleagues to ensure a consistent customer experience and effective execution of strategic initiatives.
- Provide valuable market intelligence and field insights to support business planning customer engagement strategies and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable regulations industry standards and internal company policies.
Key Requirements
- University degree in Life Sciences Healthcare Business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in an oncology-focused commercial field role ideally as a Key Account Manager Sales Representative or in a similar customer-facing position.
- Strong existing network within the Hungarian oncology community including key treatment centers oncology specialists KOLs and relevant healthcare stakeholders..
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage strategic accounts prioritize business opportunities and successfully execute territory plans.
- Excellent communication relationship-building and stakeholder management skills combined with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.
- Experience in renal cancer/renal cell carcinoma specialty care or targeted oncology therapies is considered a strong advantage.
