Model-based software engineer for MEMS sensors

The Mobility Electronics (ME) division of Bosch covers a wide portfolio of micro-mechanical sensors (MEMS) which are essential to modern life - from applications in automotive safety and navigation to consumer devices like smartphones and hearables up to control systems in spacecrafts. Bosch sensors are everywhere. Our work is embedded in a highly dynamic international setting involving close collaboration with in-house R&D and interfacing to world-renowned customers from the automotive industry.

Your tasks 

 You create Simulink based models describing the entire signal chain of a MEMS sensor.

 You implement and develop algorithms for testing and verifying model performance.

 You actively collaborate with internal customers and collect new requirements from them.

 You compile the verified models into performant low-level code.

 You are in close contact with internal stakeholders collecting inputs for new models.

 In addition to generating new models you also provide maintenance and continuous support for existing models.

 You evaluate hardware measurement data required for model validation.

 You carry out peer reviews with members of your team.

 You develop a deep understanding of Bosch sensor signal chains.

Qualifications :

 Education

• Mechatronics engineering electrical engineering mechanical engineering mathematics physics or similar disciplines

 Experience

• Experience in MATLAB and Simulink is required
• Experience in digital signal processing and system theory is required
• Experience in OOP programing is required
• Knowledge in micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) is an advantage
• Experience with embedded software development is an advantage
• Experience with measurement technology is an advantage
